This class is structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs and straps are often used for safe practice, and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Floor work will be limited and optional. Those with medical conditions, please check with your physician if you have any concerns about attending yoga.This is a Silver Sneakers approved Yoga Class.
Appropriate for continuing beginners to advanced practitioners or new beginners with a basic level of fitness. This is class leans toward a gentle class but also gives you that challenge you may be looking for. This class is geared toward students who want to take their practice a little deeper. Modifications are given for those that want a more gentler practice.
